Claire Cornock has been awarded a Vice Chancellor’s teaching award

We are delighted to announce that research student Claire Cornock has been awarded a Vice Chancellor’s teaching award for her work leading seminars and tutorials in the Mathematics Department.  Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Awards were introduced in 2006 as one of the ways the University rewards excellence in learning and teaching.  This year, for the first time,  an additional category of postgraduates who teach was added, and Claire is one of only 4 people to be given the award of £500 towards the development of her professional interests.

The panel was impressed by the excellent feedback she received from students and the care with which she approached her teaching.
