The department's research graduate courses (MSc (by Research), MPhil and PhD) may be commenced at any time during the academic year (although 1 October is the most usual starting date). Applications may be submitted at any time, if possible at least 6 months before the proposed starting date.

UK/EU applicants wishing to be considered for Research Council funding should submit their applications no later than the end of January in the intended year of admission

Individual supervisors (see list of academic staff for e-mail addresses) would also be happy to answer any questions about their proposed research projects.

European and Overseas students should be aware of the English language requirements for the courses.
