The Analysis research group at York is active in functional analysis, operator theory and harmonic analysis, and in applications of analysis to integral and differential equations and signal processing.

Within the department, we overlap and actively collaborate with the research groups in number theory, networks and nonlinear dynamics and mathematical physics.

Externally, we maintain particularly strong links with the functional analysis group at Leeds, especially via the YFAG seminar series.
